New Buddies

Christian now has a new bff, in addition to his girlfriend Miss Eva He also has regular playdates with Landyn. Landyn is only a few months yourger than Christian, and have very similar personalities. They are both outgoing, bright, very silly, hyper, and tough little guys. Although Christian weighs almost 10# more than Landyn, you'd never know it they way they play together! Landyn is a tough little monkey :) It is SO much fun watching them play and be little comedians. They make eachother laugh hysterically which in turn cracks Landyn's mother (Jatina) and I up. We all have a great time together!

Eva

Christian has a best bud, and HER name is Eva! Her Mommy (Vanessa) and I like to say that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. They hold hands, put their arms around eachother, hug, and play so well together. We've even caught Christian playing with Eva's hair a few times. Eva is 3 1/2, and Christian is almost the same size as her! It's SO cute. We try to get together with them at least twice a month, sometimes more. Yesterday they came over and the kids chased eachother around the house, screamed, yelled, wrestled, and had a blast! I got some great video and pics of that! Today they are coming over to go swimming. Maybe one day they really will be boyfriend and girlfriend! I know Vanessa and I hope so! ;)

Manners

Most everyone knows how well Christian says "thank you", and that he has been saying it even before he turned one. Well, his new thing that he insists on doing is taking his dishes to the sink every time he is done eating or drinking, and sometimes he even takes mine for me! Today we bumped into eachother and for the first time he said "cue me!" (Excuse me). I couldn't believe it! Such good manners and he is only 21 months old! Impressive.

Artist

Christian is my little artist. I think he may take after his Nona and Aunt April. He loves to draw with markers, crayons, pen, or pencil. He is very intense and concentrates hard when doing do. He also really likes to paint, use stamps, and use stickers, etc. We are always making new artwork to put up on his wall. And if you have been to our house, you know that his bedroom wall is covered in huge sheets of artwork that we have worked on. So, yesterday we bought him an artists desk, with an easel and everything! He was so excited about it and sat right down as soon as we set it up in his room, and started coloring at his desk. :) I posted some pics of my little artist! We will see if he turns out to be the next amazing artist in the fam...

Visitors

We recently had a visit from Grandpa Lowlor (Bapa), Aunt Megan (Meme), and cousin Drake (Ake). It was a great time and Christian absolutely loved being able to get to know them better. He loved playing with Aunt Megan and cousin Drake is his room. He also really enjoyed wrestling on the floor with Grandpa, as well as learning to drive around the parking lot with him and going for walks to the pool with him. Aunt Megan read tons of books to him, which he absolutely loved (it's his favorite pastime!). She also played with him constantly when we were at home, he just adored her and having her attention! We had a couple of outtings that he really enjoyed as well, including a day at the pool, a visit to the park with a picnic, a trip to Grapevine Mills mall (he got a carousel ride :), and a trip to the Stockyards. Christian always welcomes visitors to our house with extreme excitement, he absolutely loves when he has more people to play with and shower him with attention! :)

Baby Babble

This has to be the cutest thing you could ever imagine hearing. Christian is beginning to babble constantly! It's so fun to listen to a baby learning to talk. He will babble full sentences, even tell me a story. He has a ton of words down already, but still babbles on and on. SO much fun!
